Tabletop and trading card players in Jacksonville will have a new place to shop and play when Tower of Games opens at 933 University Blvd. N. The retailer lists the location as coming soon, with grand-opening events planned for October 2026.
Tower of Games sells new and secondhand games, accessories and collectibles, and it also buys cards, miniatures, collectibles and other gaming items. The Jacksonville store is expected to offer in-store play and regular gatherings for local players.
According to the company’s website, the opening weekend schedule already includes events on October 30 and 31: a Friday Night Magic draft, a Warhammer 40,000 event, Pokémon League and Magic: Commander.
The company regularly hosts activities tied to Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Warhammer 40,000, Star Wars: Unlimited, Dungeons & Dragons and board games. Tower of Games currently operates in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Newport News, Virginia, as well as Boca Raton. Jacksonville would be its second Florida location.
A specific opening date has not been announced beyond October, though the company is accepting RSVPs for its Jacksonville opening events and sign-ups for updates.
