If you're camping or staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort right now, there's a small but useful thing to know before you head out for a park day: the Magic Kingdom bus pickup has temporarily shifted to a new location.

Normally, buses bound for Magic Kingdom and Disney's Wilderness Lodge load up at the Settlement Bus Depot, which sits at the back of the campgrounds near Pioneer Hall and Tri-Circle-D Ranch. For the time being, those buses are instead departing from the Reception Outpost stop near the front entrance of the resort.

The change appears to be connected to recent work in the Settlement area — the sidewalk there was recently repaved, and additional refurbishment near the bus stop may be driving the temporary rerouting. Disney hasn't officially commented on the reason or timeline.

The practical takeaway for guests: give yourself a little extra time to get oriented, especially if you've visited Fort Wilderness before and have the old stop memorized. The Reception Outpost is easy enough to reach, but it's a different walk than longtime campers may be used to.
