Universal Orlando Annual Passholders visiting Epic Universe this summer and fall have a small but handy advantage when it comes to catching the live show inside Isle of Berk. During Passholder Appreciation Days, which run August 15 through September 30, eligible guests can secure priority seating for The Untrainable Dragon by arriving at the venue 15 minutes before showtime.

The production is a 20-minute live show featuring How to Train Your Dragon characters — Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber, and Astrid — working through a mystery together. It's designed for guests of all ages, making it a natural addition to a full day in the land. Universal announced the perk via its Annual Passholder Instagram Stories on August 12.

A few details matter before banking on the benefit. Valid Epic Universe admission is still required separately — the Annual Pass alone doesn't get you in. And while Passholders do get to line up ahead of the general crowd, seating remains first-come, first-served. Universal notes that availability is subject to change, so the perk is best treated as a helpful edge rather than a guaranteed seat.

There's also a gap in the calendar to keep in mind: The Untrainable Dragon is scheduled for refurbishment September 15 through September 20. Passholders whose visits fall within those six days won't be able to use the priority seating benefit at all, since the show itself will be dark. Planning a trip around this perk means targeting dates before September 15 or from September 21 onward.

For guests already spending a day at Epic Universe, the priority seating offer adds a low-effort way to fit a scheduled live show into an attraction-packed itinerary. Disney Fanatic first reported the details of this Passholder benefit.
