Walt Disney World has unveiled a Haunted Mansion-themed shirt and collectible pin created exclusively for Annual Passholders attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall. The shirt features the attraction's iconic Hitchhiking Ghosts set against a festive Halloween design complete with "Boo to You" lettering, pumpkins, and bats — the kind of seasonal collectible that tends to sell out fast among Haunted Mansion fans.

There's a catch, though, and it's a significant one. The merchandise is only available for purchase on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights at the Emporium inside Magic Kingdom. That means Passholders must first buy a separately ticketed party admission, then present both their Annual Pass and a valid government-issued photo ID at the register to complete the purchase.

In practice, this creates two tiers of Annual Passholders: those willing to pay for a party ticket and those who aren't — or can't. While Disney has long offered Passholder perks, tying merchandise explicitly marketed to members behind an additional premium purchase is drawing some raised eyebrows from the fan community.

The merchandise debut also coincides with encouraging news for Haunted Mansion fans in general. Disney has finished removing construction scrims and scaffolding from the attraction's exterior following a multi-month refurbishment. The mansion's full facade — freshly repainted to closely match its original look — is visible once again, and new landscaping with shrubs and young trees now surrounds the hillside. The ride itself stayed open throughout the project.
