Halloween may still be months away, but Walt Disney World is already getting into the spirit with a new seasonal droid collectible. The R2-WRWLF figure recently appeared on shelves at Mickey's of Hollywood inside Disney's Hollywood Studios, priced at $17.99.
True to its name, the droid is decked out in full werewolf attire. Its casing is mostly brown with red plaid detailing meant to suggest a flannel shirt, and even the wheels have been given a brown finish to lean into the creature look. A pair of wolf ears tops off the costume.
The packaging leans into the theme as well. The Droid Factory logo appears in silver beneath a large image of the R2-WRWLF, and the artwork shows the little droid roaming under not one but two full moons. The back of the package includes a galaxy-wide message about droid variety along with a breakdown of each component of the figure.
For collectors keeping an eye on seasonal merchandise, this one may not stick around long once fall shopping picks up. WDW News Today was first to spot the figure on shelves.
